“The Woman of the Year 2015” is an award
ceremony organized by “Glamour” magazine in association with Domashniy TV
channel.
The Russian award ceremony “The Woman of
the Year” is the analogue of the US annual award ceremony. The Russian version
is much younger than its American analogue: in 2015 Russian “Glamour” awarded
its heroes just the eleventh time. The grand award ceremony took place in the
Russian Academic Youth Theatre.
“The Woman of the Year” award is handed annually by “Glamour” to outstanding representatives
of the cinema, show business, fashion, sport and art in the following
nominations: “The Actress of the Year”, “The Singer of the Year”, “The Diva of
the Year” etc. The winners of the nominations are defined by the number of
readers’ votes.
