“Aboutprovence. Dramatic Stories” is a
TV show about people, their life stories and, naturally, about food.
The popular blogger and cookery expert Nika Belotserkovskaya is crazy about France and French cuisine. She shot documentary series about Provence – the territory we hardly know – and its wonderful people who have made taste their profession.
“Aboutprovence” includes four films about people crazy about their professions. For example, a Parisienne named Elian quit her job of a hairdresser and went to Provence, where she married a shepherd 15 year younger than her. Now they breed rare goats and make the best cheese in France. Brothers from Pakistan have a different life story: they went to France with the only dream: to be the best chefs in the country. In a few years, their dishes were the calling cards of the top European restaurants. Bob has a small restaurant in a Gypsy village and cooks the best duck breast in Provence. Monsieur Sharialle, a gentleman by birth, was called the Provence’s Karabas-Barabas, because he has the best French chefs, working for him, and restaurants highly popular among French beau-monde. Nika Belotserkovskaya will share with the audience these people’s amazing stories. The only thing you’ll have to do is to plan your next vacation to visit this wonderful corner of the world – Provence.
